Grasshopper Top Tune No 1

Went out for an early morning walk around Arcot Pond and was watching a Grasshopper Warbler from about 15m away when it flew into the bush next to me and started Reeling.  Quick flick of the button and the above shaky video is the result.  Couple more shots of it also:
Also saw a Whitethroat but no sign of a Lesser unfortunately.  John, where were you, was expecting to see you there.  Back to work now

Wish I could see them on the Carr! Tawny Owl was asleep at his post again last night.

After a bit of convincing i managed to drag Jeff away from some gardening he had to do but it was after 1.00pm ans was only for just over an hour. He had to get back to dirty his pinny for the missus getting in. Heard a number of Grasshopper W's but saw none. Did get my favourite though....a Sedgy.

That vids cracking John, shame you've still got that drink problem and the shakes. Seriously though, nice to see the bird in action for a prolonged period. I'm convinced it has a sore throat and is gargling. Should be a Gargler Warbler. Nice ring to it that.
